Santa Eulària des Riu (Santa Eulalia)
S´Aigua Blanca
The northernmost beach in the municipality of Santa Eulalia is characterized by crystal clear, shallow water and fine white sand. High, rugged rock walls enclose it, leaving no room for hotel buildings. The way down is steep. Aguas Blancas is Ibiza’s second nudist beach (the other is Es Cavallet in the municipality of San José), but nudists tend to stick to the smaller second beach, which is separated from the first by a rocky outcrop that extends into the water. The beautiful view of Tagomago and a cozy little beach shack are other attractions.
Cala Boix
What is special about Cala de Boix is its black sand, quite unique for Ibiza. The bay is deeply cut into wooded rocks, the Cap Roig protects against north winds. Access is steep and as with almost all beaches where you cannot drive to the sand, this has protected it from development. There is a small beach shack downstairs, and there are two restaurants upstairs in the parking lot.
Pou des Lleó / Canal den Martí
The small fisherman’s bay, where a freshwater fountain is even hidden between the cliffs, from which the place takes its name (Pou means fountain), is something for romantics. The sandy beach is small, there is a lot of seaweed. A beach shack and two good seafood restaurants – one on the rocks, the other on the road inland – don’t disturb the tranquillity. A nice walk around the southern side of the bay leads to the old 17th century tower of Torre d’en Valls, directly opposite the island of Tagomago.

Playa Es Figueral
A typical family beach with lots of sand and shallow water where a club hotel has settled. In midsummer, the wide beach is almost completely covered with bathing loungers. However, the few shops in the area do not give the feeling of a holiday urbanization.
Cala Mastella
This small beach consists of two handles located in a narrow and sheltered bay, with great scenic beauty and sea atmosphere. There are very beautiful spots on its rocky bottom to discover while snorkeling.
Cala Llenya
It is a sandy beach surrounded by pine trees, into which the dry course of a torrent flows. It is surrounded by peaceful surroundings and offers a wide range of leisure and sports facilities. Due to its conditions, it offers an ideal setting for practicing light sailing, snorkeling and with numerous possibilities for interesting excursions through its beautiful landscapes.
Cala Nova
The beach is flanked by two rugged rocky outcrops that close it off and give it a particular scenic charm. On your left there is a small pine forest through which you can discover beautiful natural landscapes. When the wind blows, it’s one of the island’s most popular beaches for surfing. The smoothness of the bumps in the bottom makes it very safe for bathing.
Es Canar
One of the first holiday urbanizations on the island settled on the relatively small Playa des Canar with a wide sandy beach. In the meantime, Es Canar has become one of the largest tourist centers in Ibiza. Many hotels, shops, bars and restaurants make their living here. The oldest and largest hippie market in Ibiza takes place every Wednesday in the Club Punta Arabí at the end of the street: a sea of stalls that turn the search for souvenirs into a shopping frenzy. If you have patience and don’t let the dust and crowds scare you, you can even discover original handicrafts among the consumer offerings.
Cala Pada
It is a family beach in the shape of a handle flanked by two low points covered with vegetation and pine trees. The smoothness of the bumps in the bottom makes it very safe for bathing. When the wind blows, it is a very suitable beach for surfing.
Es Niu Blau
This beach is flanked by two small promontories covered with vegetation that reach the sea and into which flows an important torrent, the Torrent d’Arabí. Its atmosphere is very familiar and its conditions allow a wide variety of leisure activities and water sports.
Santa Eularia Beach
It is a sandy beach integrated into the city, which is very suitable for families. The smoothness of the bumps of the bottom and the wind conditions make it very safe for swimming and for starting light sailing.
Cala LLonga
South of Santa Eulalia, the small Cala Llonga cuts far inland between Punta Roja and Cap des Llibrell, as its name suggests (Cala Llonga = long bay). The short but wide sandy beach is fully occupied by the guests of the hotels that are built into the cliffs all around. Water sports, restaurants, pubs, mini discos – Cala Llonga is a place for young vacationers who want to be animated.
Cala Olivera
It is a small beach with little traffic, surrounded by forest and very transparent water.
S’Estanyol
5 minutes from Jesús is s’Estanyol, a cozy pebble beach lined with pine trees and vegetation, ideal for lovers of tranquility and excursions on foot. The loction of the beach offers beautiful underwater corners that can be discovered while snorkeling. There is a wooden pier leading from the shore.
